The surname of yours truly. Not the most common of surnames and, in the past, was quite geographically limited. My own line of Rushins are the Anstey Rushins, hailing from the village of Anstey in the English Midlands county of Leicestershire. The origin of the name Rushin is unclear though one American website claims authority and even has a coat of arms! I am very dubious of this. There are quite a lot of Rushins in America that may be linked, but it seems that that any link would be prior to the earliest of my ancestors that I have found.
